Teguise at sunset: history, landscape and tradition beyond the old walls
Teguise was the capital of Lanzarote for over 400 years, and its surroundings still breathe the rhythm of history, the silence of the landscape and the island’s agricultural legacy.
On this guided sunset walk, we explore the rural area of Vega de San José, which embraces the town from outside its ancient walls. We follow old trails among traditional fields and historic remains, as the soft evening light bathes the land.
Along the way, we talk about agricultural heritage, local customs and the deep bond between people and their land. The experience ends with a peaceful stroll through the historic centre of Teguise, where stone walls tell stories and the silence of dusk enhances the charm of its squares, convents and narrow streets.
A slow-paced route with no steep slopes, ideal for those who want to discover Teguise from another perspective: from the land, from the outside, and from the quiet of the end of the day.

Lanzarote in a Glass: a walk and wine tasting among volcanoes and local flavours
A simple yet eye-opening walk to discover how Lanzarote’s volcanic history has shaped not only its landscapes, but also its wines.
We start at the Monumento al Campesino, a symbol of rural life and the island’s traditional soul. As we walk among lava flows and volcanic ash, we talk about past eruptions, land formation, and how the vine found a way to survive and thrive in this challenging terrain.
The experience ends at the nearby Plaza de los Artesanos, where Vicenta welcomes us at the House of Canarian Wine. There, we enjoy a tasting of one selected wine, paired with a local delicacy: perhaps a red with artisan chocolate, a sparkling wine with smoked salmon, or a white with fresh cheese.

Discover one of Lanzarote’s most unique cultural landscapes on an interpretive walk through Janubio, where tradition and geology come together by the sea.
Along the way, you’ll learn about the volcanic origin of the area, the role of wind and water in forming the salt flats, and how human ingenuity created a traditional salt production system that shaped the island’s economy for centuries.
We walk at a gentle pace with the Atlantic always in view. We talk about history, past trades, sustainability, and how this protected area, now a Site of Scientific Interest, is preserved today.
