A simple and revealing walk to discover how Lanzarote’s volcanic history has shaped both its landscapes and its wines.
We begin at the Monumento al Campesino, a symbol of traditional work and the rural soul of the island. In this short walk, we wander among lava flows while talking about eruptions, how the land was formed, and how, despite everything, vines found a place to grow here.
At the end of the walk, we return to the Plaza de los Artesanos, where Vicenta welcomes us at the Casa del Vino Canario. She will guide us through a special tasting of one wine, which changes depending on the day: it might be a red wine paired with artisanal chocolate from Fuerteventura, or a sparkling wine served with smoked salmon or fresh local cheese.
