This 2024 is off to a good start, as I have managed to renew the seal as a Certified Company by the Biosphere Sustainable Tourism. A recognition of the work done throughout 2023.
Within the Libera Project of SeoBirdLife and Ecoembes, as an Environmental Educator I have participated in an activity about the litter in natural areas with a group of schoolchildren from Haria. After talking about how ecosystems work and the Libera project, we have started cleaning the Elvira Sanchez Ravine.
Within the framework of collaborations and with the aim of creating networks that allow me to continue growing, since March I have been part of the Green&Human family, a non-profit business association, whose ultimate objective is to contribute to the sustainable development of the destinations.One of the objectives of Guia En Lanzarote is to create collaboration networks, to continue growing in sustainability together with other travel companions.
In the first quarter of 2024, we have managed to raise the following amounts for the eco-banks
- €33 for AFOL
- €32 for Las Palmas Food Bank
Promoting local products to visitors is part of our sustainability policy. On the route organized in collaboration with the Hotel Finca La Florida, we end with a tasting of wines from local wineries, in this case with wines from Bodega La Florida.

In the month of August I collaborated with the local association Charter100 Lanzarote and La Graciosa, and in particular in their Oliver's Cold Cradle project. It is a crib where parents who lose their baby in childbirth can say goodbye with time and quality. I organize a solidarity route around Teguise and the proceeds from the registration fees go entirely to the project.
At the end of the third quarter of 2024, we have made our eco-piggy bank deposits as follows:
October ended with the terrible storms and floods in a large part of the peninsula, and to help those affected I made a donation to the Red Cross to help those affected by the floods.
