Discover the La Florida Wine Route, an exclusive experience designed for guests of Hotel Finca La Florida, but also open to other travellers upon request.

We begin with an interpretive walk through century-old vineyards, exploring the volcanic landscapes of Masdache and La Florida, while learning about traditional grape growing, native varieties and the connection between wine and Lanzarote’s natural environment.

We return to the hotel for a guided tasting of three local wines, a perfect way to savour the island's identity through its landscapes and flavours.

Discover one of Lanzarote’s most unique cultural landscapes on an interpretive walk through Janubio, where tradition and geology come together by the sea.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the volcanic origin of the area, the role of wind and water in forming the salt flats, and how human ingenuity created a traditional salt production system that shaped the island’s economy for centuries.

We walk at a gentle pace with the Atlantic always in view. We talk about history, past trades, sustainability, and how this protected area, now a Site of Scientific Interest, is preserved today.

The experience ends with a tasting of two local wines, paired with a small aperitif of regional products. A delicious and original way to savour the Janubio landscape.

Discover a beekeeping farm in the south of the island, learn how the hives work and taste seven types of honey made from native flora.

? Winery visits
Walk among volcanic vineyards and taste local wines with character. Options include Bodega Olivina and Bodega Erupción, where you’ll enjoy wine and cheese tastings, conversations with the winemakers and stunning lava landscapes.

? Flor de Luz Cheese Dairy
Visit a traditional cheese farm, learn how goat cheese is made and enjoy a tasting. You can also choose a full tasting menu with farm-grown products.

? La Molina
Explore a traditional mill and discover how gofio is roasted and ground. Taste products made from this ancient and essential Canarian food.

Each route is designed for private groups of up to 8 people, with a minimum of 2 participants. Experiences are subject to availability and can be freely combined according to your interests or schedule.

A simple yet eye-opening walk to discover how Lanzarote’s volcanic history has shaped not only its landscapes, but also its wines.

We start at the Monumento al Campesino, a symbol of rural life and the island’s traditional soul. As we walk among lava flows and volcanic ash, we talk about past eruptions, land formation, and how the vine found a way to survive and thrive in this challenging terrain.

The experience ends at the nearby Plaza de los Artesanos, where Vicenta welcomes us at the House of Canarian Wine. There, we enjoy a tasting of one selected wine, paired with a local delicacy: perhaps a red with artisan chocolate, a sparkling wine with smoked salmon, or a white with fresh cheese.
