Hiking in the Valley of Haría  Circular route through palm trees and viewpoints

Discover the greenest side of northern Lanzarote on a circular hiking route through the Valley of Haría, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Palm Trees. We walk along old paths and traditional farming terraces, surrounded by native vegetation and century-old palm groves, while exploring the island’s agricultural past.

The trail takes us through a rural landscape full of contrasts and biodiversity. At the highest point, we stop to enjoy stunning views from a natural viewpoint overlooking the Famara cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean, before heading back down to the village.

We end the walk at the artisan market in Haría, where you’ll meet local makers, discover unique products and experience a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.

Arrecife at Sunset: a walk through history and living traditions

Arrecife wasn’t always the capital of Lanzarote, but it was always a vibrant port — a place shaped by fishing, trade and popular culture.

In this evening walk, we explore the historic centre with a slow and thoughtful pace, recovering stories of the city's maritime past before tourism arrived. We talk about everyday life when the sea ruled everything, and about the traditions that still survive today.

From fishermen’s houses and old warehouses to the history of Carnival and the emblematic “buches”, this walk connects us to a more human, more local, more authentic Arrecife.
