Lanzarote in a Glass: a walk and wine tasting among volcanoes and local flavours
A simple yet eye-opening walk to discover how Lanzarote’s volcanic history has shaped not only its landscapes, but also its wines.
We start at the Monumento al Campesino, a symbol of rural life and the island’s traditional soul. As we walk among lava flows and volcanic ash, we talk about past eruptions, land formation, and how the vine found a way to survive and thrive in this challenging terrain.
The experience ends at the nearby Plaza de los Artesanos, where Vicenta welcomes us at the House of Canarian Wine. There, we enjoy a tasting of one selected wine, paired with a local delicacy: perhaps a red with artisan chocolate, a sparkling wine with smoked salmon, or a white with fresh cheese.

Teguise: history, landscape and tradition beyond the old walls
Teguise was the capital of Lanzarote for over 400 years, and its surroundings still breathe the rhythm of history, the silence of the landscape and the island’s agricultural legacy.
On this guided walk, we explore the rural area of Vega de San José, which embraces the town from outside its ancient walls. We follow old trails among traditional fields and historic remains.
Along the way, we talk about agricultural heritage, local customs and the deep bond between people and their land. The experience ends with a peaceful stroll through the historic centre of Teguise, where stone walls tell stories and the silence enhances the charm of its squares, convents and narrow streets.
