Despite the relative altitude of the island's reliefs, the erosion of the winds and rains has created, over the centuries, a peculiar and very different orography.
Between volcanoes there are valleys and ravines full of vegetation, history and traditions that we will discover together with these activities.
HIKING BETWEEN VALLEYS AND RAVINS IN LANZAROTE
Discover the beauty of northern Lanzarote on a circular route from the town of Haria. Discover the history, culture, architecture and - above all - the rich vegetation of this peculiar corner of the north of Lanzarote.
After a walk around the thousand palm trees valley, we return to the town of Haria where we will have the opportunity to visit the artisans' workshops and learn about the traditions of the island.
The route begins with a small hill where we will take the opportunity to take breaks and enjoy the views while we talk about the endemic and native vegetation that we find along the way.
This small effort is worth it since we will reach a viewpoint from where we will enjoy the views of the entire west coast of Lanzarote.
It is after this break that we begin the descent towards the town of Haria, crossing the area with the most vegetation per m2 in all the island.

From the meeting point we begin to surround the valley enjoying the views of the town of Haria.
It is a route that gives us the opportunity to discover the natural heritage while we enjoy the particular landscapes of the north.
Descent down the ravine does not require any special technical knowledge, but it does require footwear suitable for rocky and slippery ground.
At the end of the walk we will take the opportunity to visit the town of Haria and learn about the artisan traditions. Guia En Lanzarote cannot guarantee that all artisans will be in their workshops at the time of the visit.
