Wine experiences
Wine experiences in Lanzarote offer a way to understand how landscape, climate and local culture shape each wine.
This selection includes tastings in natural settings and places connected to the territory, where wine is interpreted from its origin, not only from the glass.
Walk through the volcanic vineyards of La Geria in a group of no more than 10 people and discover how volcanic soil, wind and human ingenuity made winegrowing possible in Lanzarote.
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and ends at Bodegas Rubicón with a guided tasting of one Lanzarote wine paired with cheese.
This experience lasts approximately 2 hours and runs with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 participants. It begins with a short guided visit to Monumento al Campesino, where you will learn about Lanzarote’s farming culture, traditional architecture and the relationship between its rural landscape and the work of César Manrique.
We then continue to Casa del Vino Canario for a guided tasting of one Canarian red wine paired with artisan chocolate made in Tenerife. During the tasting, you will learn how to observe the wine, identify its main characteristics and discover how chocolate changes the way it is perceived.
A personal introduction to Canarian wine through the culture and products of the islands. No previous wine knowledge is required.
If you would like to discover a lesser-known side of Canarian wine, this tasting introduces you to Canarian sparkling wines in a simple and interactive way.
During approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will taste a glass of Canarian sparkling wine and learn how it is made, which island it comes from, which grape variety is used and which winery produces it. The wine may change from one session to another, so each tasting is an opportunity to discover different wineries and wine regions across the Canary Islands.
The sparkling wine is paired with smoked salmon, cheese and crisp toasts, allowing you to explore how food pairing works and how your perception of the wine changes before and after tasting the food.
The experience takes place seated on the terrace of the Casa del Vino Canario, inside the Monumento al Campesino, and begins with a brief introduction to the location.
No previous wine knowledge is required. Just come ready to taste, compare and take part.
The activity runs with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 15 participants. If you have any allergies or intolerances, or do not eat salmon, please let us know in advance so we can prepare an alternative.
