I have been working in wine tourism for years, interpreting the landscape of Lanzarote and accompanying small groups on the ground.
That direct experience has helped me understand something important: many wine tourism experiences are visited, but not always truly understood.
From there, my work evolved towards consultancy and the design of proposals that connect wine, landscape and territory in a more coherent way.
Wine tourism consultancy and experience design
I work on wine tourism projects through a territory-based approach.
This means analysing the landscape, local identity and visitor profile in order to develop experiences that are more connected to the place where they take place.
I mainly collaborate in:
My work is mainly focused on the Canary Islands, although I also collaborate on other projects related to wine, landscape and territory.
I understand wine tourism as a way of understanding a territory through wine.
For this reason, projects are not built only around the activity or the tourism offer itself, but around the identity of the place, its history and the relationship between the territory and the people who inhabit it.
Each proposal is developed taking into account:
My work is grounded in practice and direct observation on the ground.
For years, I have guided small groups through routes and experiences in Lanzarote, observing how people move through the landscape, what helps them understand it and which elements create a genuine connection with the place.
This experience allows me to analyse projects from a very practical perspective: not only how they are designed, but also how they are actually experienced.
From there, I work on adjusting routes, narratives and dynamics to create experiences that are clearer, more coherent and more connected to the territory.
I understand wine tourism as an activity that should bring value to the territory where it takes place.
That is why I work from a regenerative perspective, where experiences are designed not only for the visitor, but also with respect for the landscape, local identity and the people who are part of the place.
It is not only about minimising impact, but about developing proposals that are more connected to the territory and to a more conscious way of exploring and interpreting it.
If you work in a winery, destination or proposal connected to wine and territory, I can help you develop experiences that are more connected to the place and the people who visit it.
