Between volcanoes there are valleys and ravines full of vegetation, history and traditions that we will discover together with these activities.
public Volcanoes
It is impossible to come to Lanzarote and not walk among one of its 300 volcanoes that emanate a captivating energy. Each volcano, each experience is unique and unrepeatable. Let yourself be caught by the magic of volcanoes.

LANZAROTE AND THE WATER CULTURE

On an island with only about 20 days of rain a year, it is difficult to supply water to a population of more than 150 thousand inhabitants, to which more than 2,000 tourists are added daily. How is it done then? How was it done before?

On this hiking route through Tahiche we discover the most important hydraulic work in Lanzarote: the construction of an aqueduct. Why has it been built? What had to be its function?

While we discovered the culture of water, we also climbed one of the oldest volcanoes in Lanzarote, the Montaña de Ubique, surrounded by lava and crop areas.

CONNECT TO LANZAROTE AND ITS PAST

From our meeting point in Tahiche we head towards  Ubique Mountain, beginning to see some crop fields as we approach a lava flow. Surrounded by lava and bordering the volcano, we begin to discover the canalization work built in the second half of the last century.

Climbing to the volcano is not difficult and we will reach just over 300m altitude. From the top we enjoy the view of the capital of Lanzarote, we will take a short break for photos and listen to some information about the eruptions of Lanzarote, before starting to descend the volcano.

We continue along the path that surrounds the Ubique mountain and discover the aqueduct. Here we will understand the culture of water and its importance for the entire island of Lanzarote. While we enjoy the landscape we return to our starting point, after having surrounded the entire Ubique Mountain.
